PROFESSIONAL
What counts as a server?
A server is a physical host or a virtual instance, and each one running JetStream Server needs its own license. A virtual instance is licensed exactly as a physical machine is.
Where does JetStream run?
On servers you host, on premises or in your public cloud. Files stay on storage you already own, and no data passes through infrastructure JetStream operates.
Are there limits on transfer volume or file size?
No. Transfer volume and file size are unmetered – there's no monthly allowance and no maximum file size, and data stays available until you remove it. Transfer rate and concurrent users are defined by your license tier.
How many people can transfer at once?
Professional supports 20 concurrent users per server. Beyond that, you can add servers or move to Enterprise.
What happens if we exceed our concurrent user capacity?
A transfer waits for a free slot rather than failing. Because slots release as soon as a transfer completes, a short queue clears on its own. If transfers wait routinely, that's the point to add a server or move to Enterprise.
What's included in the license?
Software updates, full API access, guided onboarding, and support under a standard SLA. There are no separate charges for API calls, client distribution within your licensed capacity, or data volume.
Can I license for a single project?
Yes. License annually, or monthly for the duration of a project with no annual commitment. Capacity is identical on both terms. You can move to Enterprise at any time.
Why per server rather than per gigabyte?
Because transfer volume is the part of your workload you control least. Metered pricing makes your file transfer bill a function of how busy you were, which is exactly when an unexpected invoice is least welcome. A per-server license turns it into a fixed line you can forecast a year out.
How do I buy?
Through our sales team. Tell us what you move and how many people move it, and we'll confirm the capacity you need and issue a quote.
