We had the problem before we had the product.
JetStream came out of production work, not a product roadmap. We built the transfer tool we needed, then found that everyone moving large files needed the same thing.
JetStream is accelerated file transfer software made by Jet Digital Inc. It moves terabyte-scale files between sites, partners and clients over a proprietary transfer protocol, deployed on the customer's own servers. It is used in over 40 countries by teams whose files have outgrown ordinary tools – post-production, life sciences and engineering among them.
What we make
JetStream is accelerated file transfer software. It moves very large files like camera negative, sequencing runs, point clouds, and render output between sites, partners, and clients, at the full speed the network allows.
It runs on your servers rather than ours. That is the whole design: your files stay on infrastructure you already control, and your cost is a license rather than a meter.
Where JetStream came from
We were a post-production studio, delivering 3D conversion for Hollywood blockbusters. We already had accelerated transfer software, the established product in the category at the time that moved files. What it wouldn't do was take instructions from anything else. Our pipeline knew which shots were finished; there was no way to tell the transfer tool about it.
So we built a transfer engine rather than a transfer application – something that fit into a workflow, instead of something that interrupted it. That history still shows in today's JetStream.

Every useful thing JetStream does started as a question about how someone’s work actually runs, from the pipeline to the deadline and the handover. We build for that, not for a feature list. If it doesn’t make the work move, it doesn’t ship.
Out of your way
We’ll help you deploy JetStream. After that you shouldn’t need us. Sending a file should take no training and an ordinary day should never require a support ticket. The hard engineering stays under the hood.
